Crockpot Chicken and Gravy

Ingredients

  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) low sodium cream of chicken soup

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breasts

  • Garlic powder, salt, and pepper

  • 0.5 cup sour cream

  • Rice, mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or other pasta.

  • Green onions

Instructions

  1. In Crockpot, whisk together gravy packets, cream of chicken, and water until smooth.

  2. Season both sides of chicken with salt and pepper. Garlic powder can additionally be used if desired.

  3. Nest chicken in Crockpot and cover with gravy.

  4. Cook on Low for 6-8 hours.

  5. Once cooked, shred chicken with a fork and stir in sour cream.

  6. Serve over choice of rice, mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or other pasta. Top with sliced green onions.

Notes

  • Some packages of chicken may be larger than 1lb. Increase gravy proportionally with:

    • 3 packets gravy mix, 1.5 cans soup, 3 cups water

    • 4 packets gravy mix, 2 cans soup, 4 cups water
