Crockpot Meatballs
Ingredients
2 jars (24 oz each) marinara sauce
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground Italian sausage
4-6 crushed garlic cloves
2 eggs
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper
Instructions
Move oven rack to highest position and preheat broiler to 500°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Combine all meatball ingredients (except sauce) in large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly with hands.
Scoop out a roughly golf ball sized volume of meatball mixture. Roll together in hands and place on foil-lined sheet.
Once all meatballs have been scooped and rolled, broil in oven for 8 minutes or until browned and fat has melted through.
Transfer broiled meatballs to Crockpot and stir in marinara sauce.
Cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 4 hours.
Serve with pasta, baguettes, Italian rolls, or other bread.
Notes
1-1.5 teaspoons of garlic powder can be substituted for the garlic cloves.
Parmesan-flavored Panko breadcrumbs or plain Panko breadcrumbs can be substituted for Italian breadcrumbs.
Extra sauce may be needed.
